Toyota NASCAR Drivers

group c le mans

Toyota is joining the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 2016. Whether Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, or a Truck is your driver of choice, Toyota has a good chance of winning the series. Find out how to get involved. These Toyota drivers are here to help you find what car you want. Let's start by taking a look inside their cars.

Kurt Busch

During his rookie year, Kurt Busch almost won the All-Star race and the Coca-Cola 600. Busch almost hit pit road's yellow barrels after the Richmond race. It would have cost him championship. A tire had rolled down the front stretch and caused a caution. Kurt Busch was able to recover from the mishap and finished fifth. He also finished in fifth place with ten Top 5 and twenty-one Top 10 places.

Kyle Busch

A pillar of the Toyota brand, Kyle Busch has been instrumental in the company's success. He won his first Cup race in 2008, and then he went on to win the championship. Kyle Busch Motorsports is closely associated with Toyota and many of its drivers are former Toyota employees. Bubba Wallace, Harrison Burton, and William Byron are just a few of the notable Toyota drivers that have run for Kyle Busch. Kyle Busch has also driven in support of Daniel Suarez. Todd Gilliland and Noah Gragson as well.

NXS

Many NASCAR Cup Series driver have occasionally made an appearance in the Toyota NXS, usually on their weekends. Typically, the goal is to gain "seat time" and familiarize themselves with the track. Some people have won the event. Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt, and Kyle Busch are just two examples. Truex isn’t the only Toyota NXS driver who has had a notable career. Let's take a closer glance at a few these drivers.

Truck

You have probably seen the Toyota NASCAR truck driver drive it. What makes a NASCAR Truck different than your Tundra? A Toyota NASCAR truck is made from fiberglass and is mounted on a steel frame. The truck has been aerodynamically altered, including filling in the bed and adding a rear wing. To increase down force, the front air splitter has been designed.

NXS-T

The Toyota NXS-T Hybrid Race Car offers the performance of stock cars while providing the handling and power of NASCAR trucks. Toyota vehicles can be intimidating for drivers who have not tried them before. The car is smooth and powerful, with three-speed manual transmissions. Toyota has partnered with several top teams to develop driver candidates for the NXS series.

Busch's career in NASCAR

Kyle Busch declared in 2015 that he would not compete in restrictor plate races. He crashed in a truck-race with just five laps left. It was quite shocking. He recovered and won the Can-Am Duel. His next race, Daytona 500 500, was also a success. Busch won the pole position at the Duel. He subsequently started on the front row. After a stop/go penalty, he resumed the field and finished second. Busch was third in the Daytona 500.

Pit strategy for Toyota nascar drivers

Toyota will now coordinate the pit strategy with all its drivers. Three different manufacturers will conduct coordinated pit stops, and then take turns pitting each car when the green signal is given. The Toyota cars were separated in pit stops last year which resulted in them losing track position and the chance to win. Although the new pit stop choreography is a good solution, it's not perfect. Pit crews will still be divided by manufacturers, but it will be faster and easier for them.

Mistakes made by Toyota nascar drivers

The Toyota team has not been able to win races at the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series. Two teams were entered in the Championship 4, but the team has not been able to win in the Championship 4 in the last three weeks. During Sunday's Auto Club 400 all of the drivers who led standings during regular season made mistakes. Here are some of these mistakes:

Kurt Busch's performance in NASCAR

In 2015, Kyle Busch's performance in NASCAR was quite decent. He won three races while finishing fourth in four. His best result in the series was his fifth place finish at the Budweiser Duel race and third at Talladega. In contrast, Busch suffered several unlucky breaks during the second half of the year. At Darlington, he crashed out and damaged his race car, and at Martinsville, he had overheating issues and finished twenty-seventh. At Atlanta, he finished twenty-eighth after failing to qualify.
