Justin Allgaier enjoyed a successful 2017 NASCAR Xfinity Series campaign. He won his second Xfinity Series Race and led five times. Allgaier won both the stage and final stages of the race. Allgaier had never won at Nashville Superspeedway before this win. It was also Allgaier’s 18th career triumph. Allgaier won seven of the eight races he has run.

Allgaier was forced to part ways with HScott Motorsports after the 2015 season. Allgaier is now back in the Xfinity Series with JR Motorsports. Ashley, Allgaier's wife, also watches from afar, and her heart rate rises just watching her husband race.

Allgaier made his full-time debut as a driver in the ARCA Racing Series in 2006. He won one race and finished 10th. He became the first driver in the Springfield area to win his first professional race at Illinois State Fairgrounds Racetrack. In 2007, he had a busy year, making three starts for MB and finishing fourth in the ARCA standings. He also won his first two midget features at Angell Park Speedway, and he finished third in the Chili Bowl, behind Tony Stewart.
