The Milwaukee Mile is a one-mile oval race track located in Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, Wisconsin. It can seat approximately 37,000 spectators. It's a popular place to watch racing and other motorsport events. You can also catch IndyCar Series or Champ Car races on weekends.

IndyCar Series

The IndyCar Series' most historic venue is the Milwaukee Mile in Wisconsin. It has been operating since 1903, and has hosted numerous races, including the Indianapolis 500. It has also hosted open-wheel races as well as stock-car races. The Milwaukee Mile is also the oldest continually operating motor speedway. The Milwaukee Mile hosted regular races for autos, including IndyCar or NASCAR races.

IndyCar Series raced twice at the Milwaukee Mile before. The Milwaukee Mile saw the IndyCar series race twice before, in 2015, when Sebastien Bordais won. In discussions about the future, the Milwaukee Mile was brought up several times. The Milwaukee Pagoda is home to 35,000 spectators. It's affectionately known simply as the Milwaukee Mile.

Champ Car

The Milwaukee Mile will host the Indianapolis 500 in spring 2018. The track will make the announcement on Thursday in downtown Milwaukee. But it's not yet clear whether Champ Car will return. In 1962, Jim Clark became the first champion in a rear-engined Champ Car. A.J. Foyt finished second in the race with a dirt car.

The Milwaukee mile is a popular spot for motorcycle races. You have probably seen it if your ever been to Milwaukee. It used to be a dirt horse race track, but was paved in the mid-1950s. You can now see Harley-Davidson riders racing on the same track. The event has become a very popular attraction for both bikers, and spectators.

In the first half of the 20th Century, motorcycle racing was very popular in Milwaukee as well as across the United States. Harley-Davidson, a famed Milwaukee motorcycle manufacturer gained national attention through its involvement on motorcycle racing. It is a thrilling sport but it is extremely dangerous. In those days, motorcycles could travel up to 120 mph without brakes. Race motorcycles had also to be pulled into the race.
