Kevin Harvick

The weekend was a dream come true for the defending Sprint Cup Series champion. Kevin Harvick, who had never won Fontana Races before this year's race, is now on track to make Victory Lane his sixth career appearance. Kevin Harvick's car was the class of the field most of the afternoon, particularly on the long runs. Six cautions were raised during the 200-lap event. With three laps left, Kyle Busch had to change a tire. He lost the lead. However, the team had to resort to a replacement.

Austin Dillon

Austin Dillon is not just the driver who won the Xfinity Series race. Richard Childress, his grandfather, is also congratulating Dillon. Dillon has been in the top 10 at the 2.0-mile track over the past two year. He is the first driver to win the Auto Club 400 in consecutive years. He will also race at Daytona's 2021 Bluegreen Vacations Duel 2

Alex Bowman

In his career, Alex Bowman has won four races, including the Auto Club 400. The Fontana speedway's two-mile Fontana track was the first time the top division driver had won the 24th annual race. Bowman led 110 laps to finish 8.9 seconds quicker than Kyle Busch. This earned him a place in the Round of Eight. Kurt Busch was third and Kyle Busch came in second. Ryan Blaney finished eighth, after a loose wheel caused by Ryan Blaney. Bowman is a good racer but there will be stiff competition this year.

What type of cars is used in racing cars, and why?

Speed is the most important aspect for any race car driver. It's what makes them move fast. They must be fast enough and strong enough not to lose the lead. This gives them an advantage over the rest of the racers, as they can quickly overtake other drivers at high speeds and pull away from them again when it's not their turn.

The lightest cars are typically the fastest. They can accelerate quickly and achieve a high speed. However, this also means they have less power which limits how far they can travel in a short amount of time. They need to make efficient use of energy.

Engines power most modern-day racing cars. These engines look similar to regular passenger vehicles. These engines run on compressed gas instead of petrol. This is because petrol isn't powerful enough to provide enough power to make a car go very fast.

Who invented car racing?
