NASCAR Points Leaders

nascar 2021 schedule tv

After a weekend full of action, it's time for us to examine the nascar point leaders. Which drivers are leading now? Will the rest of field catch up? We'll take a look at Chase Elliott, William Byron, Ross Chastain, Martin Truex Jr., and more. But who are other drivers leading the points race? Who is the favorite to win the title? Who will win the next race?

Joe Kosiski

Joe Kosiski, the NASCAR points leader, was still in place at the end of the Division II races at Oglethorpe Raceway Park. Shane Riner is still his closest rival and Eric Humphries are also in his sights. Riner won the sixth race of Oglethorpe's season and now has seven90 point, while Humphries currently has 592. After a long streak of poor finishes, Kosiski's streak of poor finishes has ended.

Kosiski has been a Dodge Weekly Series national champion twice, winning both the division title in 1986 as well as the NDWS crown in 2000. He also has an unrecord eight top-five finishes. He is currently the points leader for two tracks. Shane Riner Jr. and Pete Anderson Jr. are the other drivers of this division (NDWS Division II).

Shane Riner

Shane Riner from Guyton is the Late Model driver and one of America's top scorers. Riner holds a 44-point advantage over Joe Kosiski with five72 points. Both drivers have won races this year, and Kosiski is also a winner and has 10 top-five finishes. Riner has much more to offer. Oglethorpe Speedway Park Late Model makes up the latest addition to the NASCAR standings.

For several years, Riner, the father of McKenzie (aged 5), and Ashley (14), Riner has been the center of attention. Angeline, Riner's wife, is an Attorney. The thrill of racing isn’t his only attraction. It's clear why he pursues it, especially with his kids by his side. His family is the reason for his team's success.

Joey Logano

Joey Logano's 2016 season has been a success despite his rough start. He won the Martinsville pole but finished outside the top 11. After back-to-back DNFs at Kansas and Talladega, Joey Logano swung around to win the Sprint Cup All-Star Race at Kansas. After that, he won the FireKeepers Casino400 before taking 40th place at the Coke Zero400, winning the title at Dover.

Logano was sixth in the race, but was soon dropped to the mid-pack by a speeding penalty. He managed to stay in the middle of the pack for the remainder of the race but crashed into Danica Patrick and Aric Almirola during the final laps. Logano's post-race interview with Danica Patrick was filled by both tears and anxiety after the fiery wreck. Both drivers were badly injured.

Denny Hamlin

Denny Hamlin is the obvious choice for the nascar points title. He finished in the top-10 at each race this season. He has been consistent in the past several years. He won Loudon and placed fourth at New Hampshire. In his career, he has been a top-six finisher on average. His only loss this year was a DNF at Dover, which cost him his best finish of the year.

Kyle Larson is an legitimate contender for the NASCAR Cup Series championship. However, he hasn't been able find victory lane since Kansas. Larson has just one win and is tied with Hamlin at the points standings, with nine17 points. Hamlin is out of playoffs if Larson win the regular season points championship.

How To

How to start racing abroad

First, you will need to find a local club where you can practice and compete. Because of the different driving laws in other countries, it can be difficult to race. Some countries do not allow drivers to pass at any other point. Other countries only allow overtaking when entering a roundabout. Some countries require cars that make a certain sound when they enter or leave a roundabout. The best thing you can do before you travel to another country is to read the regulations. This will ensure you don't get a ticket for breaking the law.
