NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

race tracks in america

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series introduced new rules to the series. These rules were without pit specialists and did not require additional tires. This rule change was necessary due to unsafe pit roads at certain tracks like Dacono (CO) and Tucson (AZ). Instead of pit stops being allowed, the series established a ten-minute break between races. This was in addition to allowing tire changes for safety reasons.

Enfinger leads nascar race truck

Enfinger won the first Truck Series race at the 2022 playoffs. The young American won the race by beating John Hunter Nemechek as well as Zane Smith late in the race. This win guarantees Enfinger's spot in the second round. Stewart Friesen was also among the top five playoff drivers. Tyler Ankrum also finished sixth, his best finish of this season. Layne Riggs was also among the top ten. Ty Majeski was also among them.

Majeski lost 1.3 seconds to Majeski's lead by the halfway point. The lead was still being fought between the two, but Enfinger managed to catch Majeski in lapped traffic. Colby Howard spun the truck and collided with Hocevar on Lap 191. The ninth caution was issued for the day. Enfinger stayed away from pit road and passed Nemechek during Turn 4. On Lap 107 Enfinger passed Nemechek, and took the lead.
