The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series introduced new rules to the series. These rules were without pit specialists and did not require additional tires. Sammy Smith is the second most-placed driver at the ARCA Menards Series Race. He was able to hold his own against the NASCAR Truck Series competitor. Smith fought hard all the way through the race, even a few restarts. In Turns 3, 4 and 5, he ran into the wall outside. He was placed in second. Smith has now won seven races for the season.
In last year's Truck Series race at Nashville, Smith led 46 laps and won Stage Two. But, Smith was rescheduled for the late race restart and finished 13th.
Kimi Raikkonen will drive Toyota Tundra in N.C. Education Lottery 200
