NASCAR Sprint Cup Series

Since 1995's opening of the track, 13 drivers have won the NASCAR Cup Series race at Chicagoland. In fact, the track's past winners include three different drivers who won the Cup Series championship. Out of their individual victories the track is famous for its pit wall. The Chase race's opening ceremony will be opened by Jim Cornelison (Chicago Blackhawks national Anthem singer) who will sing "The Star Spangled Banner".

This year, Team Penske was the dominant team in the race. Although the team won the Cup season's first half, they finished fourth in the final race. Bowman was the first Cup winner. Martin Truex Jr. his teammate was only one block away from winning Daytona 500. Kyle Busch, on the other hand, was in 15th place on Sunday. This was a reverse of his usual position.

Busch Series

Busch Series races are held at Chicagoland Speedway. There have been past winners of this race, including Kyle Busch last year, who won it. The Camping World 300 race is next in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The race will run over 150 laps, and there will be a stage-finish. The first stage will conclude at lap 35. While the second stage will conclude at lap 70. Fox Sports 1 will live-televised the race.

Chicagoland will host the Camping World Truck Series for its second race. The track is in suburban Chicago and has hosted previous series. In 2009, and 2001, the event was held under light on Friday nights. The Truck Series regular season was capped by the race. It also qualified drivers for seven-race playoffs.
