A series of new rules were introduced by the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. These new rules did not include pit specialists or extra tires. This rule change was necessary as some tracks had unsafe pit roads, such as Dacono in CO and Tucson in AZ. Instead of pit stops the series decided to have a ten minute "halftime" break between races and allow tire changes for safety purposes.
Enfinger leads nascar race truck
Enfinger is the winner of his first Truck Series Race in 2022. To take the lead, the young American beat John Hunter Nemechek and Zane Smith, who were aggressive in late races. The win guarantees Enfinger's participation in the second round. Stewart Friesen & Ben Rhodes were the other playoff drivers. In addition, Tyler Ankrum scored his best finish of the season with sixth place. Layne Riggs (top ten) and Ty Majeski (top ten) also made it to the top ten.
Majeski had a lead of 1.3 seconds when Enfinger surpassed him halfway. Both men fought for the lead with Enfinger catching Majeski on lapped traffic. Colby Howard spun and hit Hocevar at Turn 1 on Lap 191. That led to the ninth caution. Enfinger stayed clear of the pit road and passed Nemechek at Turn 4. On Lap 107 Enfinger passed Nemechek, and took the lead.

Nemechek assumes 2nd
John Hunter Nemechek won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race at Darlington Raceway. But, after the race, he had to deal with drama. Nemechek avoided being struck by a fan who threw a beer bottle at him. However, it could have been even worse.
Nemechek started the night in fourth position, but was able move up to second after a dive into Derek Kraus' No. 19. The driver then won his 10th stage of the season and earned a playoff win. He then began the second stage from the outside lane, battling with Creed and Chandler Smith to finish in third.
In nascar truck race, Sammy Smith takes on Chandler Smith
Sammy Smith is the second-highest-placed driver of the ARCA Menards Series race. He was no match for the NASCAR Truck Series contestant. Smith battled hard throughout the race, including a number of restarts. In Turns 3, 4 and 5, he ran into the wall outside. This resulted in Smith sitting in second. Smith has now finished seven races this season.
Smith won Stage Two of the Truck Series race last year at Nashville. He led 46 laps. But, Smith was rescheduled for the late race restart and finished 13th.
