The 787B

Ten years ago, the 787B was not available to any other team, and the car which won Le Mans was virtually unchanged. The engine, gear ratios, wing angles and aerodynamic settings were all unchanged. The car performed well and had a longer time between pit-stops that its competitors. This compensated for its slow speed. The car was also washed. Today, however, the 787B remains an iconic race car.
